Since July 2020, we have been constantly experimenting with various online platforms, websites and subscriptions to find the best balance between technology and learning. Before the pandemic, our students at Brokenshire's CANDEV wing were already using ipads and other tech to facilitate the delivery of lessons in reading fluency, spelling, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. It was not difficult for the students to transfer to web-based apps when we started online classes in July. Our online class is filled with interactive activities. Our students are 100% engaged because we use many different platforms. It includes online games and online tools that they can manipulate, interact and create with.We believe that First World instruction is not impossible in the Philippines. But teachers should know what tools to use and have a creative vision to create educational materials that students will respond to, especially in online classes. If you want to see online class videos, add us on Facebook to see how online classes should be done.We provide free online class trials. We also share our materials on our Facebook account and page. Best of all, we give a lot of online tips to parents and teachers on how to teach students with dyslexia, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, students on the autism spectrum, students with hearing impairment and regular school students.
